| - Odin (en vieux norrois : Óðinn, en vieux haut allemand : Wotan, en proto-germanique : Wōdanaz, en vieux saxon des Pays-Bas : Wodan, et en vieil anglais : Wōden), également connu sous le nom de Oden, Othen, Uodan, ou encore Wothalan, est le dieu principal du panthéon de la mythologie nordique. Il existe également dans la mythologie germanique en général, où il est parfois appelé Gaut. L'étymologie de son nom fait référence à Ód, et signifie « fureur », aux côtés d'« esprit » et de « poésie », d'où l'allemand Wut (fureur) et le néerlandais woede de même sens.
