  • En attendant le vote... est un film burkinabé réalisé par Missa Hébié, sorti en 2011. Il est adapté du roman En attendant le vote des bêtes sauvages d'Ahmadou Kourouma, publiée en 1998. Ce film sera récompensé du grand prix au FESPACO en 2011. Situé dans le pays imaginaire de la République du Golfe, le film relate l’histoire de la dictature du président Koyaga qui accède au pouvoir à la suite d'un coup d’État. 21 ans plus tard, après avoir échappé à une tentative d'assassinat, Koyaga trouve refuge dans son village natal. Il assiste à un donsomana (un récit purificatoire), où le griot du village et son ‘répondeur’ lui exposent les faits tragiques de son mandat. L’intrigue oscille entre passé et présent, où, en une nuit, le récit cathartique du Griot parviendra à faire changer le régime de la République du Golfe. (fr)
