Une histoire locale raconte qu'en 1907, un soir d'élection municipale, une bagarre éclata à la mairie entre deux partis adverses, et l'urne fut envoyée par la fenêtre et finit son vol dans la rivière voisine, depuis appelée l'Urne-à-l'Eau. L'urne est devenue une urne antique et le cyclamor, symbole habituel de l'alliance, comme l'anneau, pourrait représenter la paix retrouvée. (fr)
